About

BFSA - a 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Companion Animal Rescue. Our organization was originally founded in 2008 in South Florida, we have opened a new facility in Orlando. Broward Friends of Shelter Animals is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in need. Every day, throughout the country, literally thousands of mostly healthy, adoptable animals are killed due to a lack of resources and the irresponsibility of over breeding as well as pure ignorance of the population as a whole. We are an advocate for these animals and intend, not only to help those in our immediate care, but also to have a broader impact on how society views and addresses these innocent creatures who live among us.
