Border Animal Rescue

About

A small group of people in Bisbee, Arizona saw the need to help unwanted and abandoned pets and that the shelters struggled to get the animals noticed and adopted. Those first fosters for Border Animal Rescue opened their homes, their hearts, and their wallets to take care of those animals and to help place those animals in their forever homes. Since incorporation in 1998, Border Animal Rescue has worked tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home animals and has developed a wonderful relationship with animal control and the shelters of Cochise County. The work is not always easy, but it is always worth it.

Adoption process

There is an application to be filled out, a meet and greet with the animal and then a home visit is required. We do home visits so we can determine if your home and the animal are a good fit .
