Bishop's Small Dog Rescue, Inc. NFP is an Illinois licensed animal shelter located in Wyanet, Illinois. We are also incorporated as a not for profit in the state of Illinois and a 501(c) 3 Public Charity. This means all donations are tax deductible. All dogs at this shelter have been saved from certain death at a kill shelter and were rescued by Bishop's Small Dog Rescue, Inc. NFP, Heather Bishop-CEO/Pres. We currently handle up to twenty dogs at a time at this point, but hope with the help of donations and foster homes to be able to help many more dogs in the near future. All dogs taken into the rescue are up to date on all shots, altered, microchipped, and temperament tested. We are a foster home based rescue so most are in homes with foster families.
