Bichon Rescue Brigade (BRB) is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place Bichon Frise and Bichon Frise mixed dogs into responsible and caring homes – as well as providing a resource for public education on the breed and responsible dog ownership. We are located in Southern California and focus our efforts on dogs in need in our area. We do adopt nationwide, but we ask adopters to travel to Southern California to meet and adopt their new pups, and then travel home with them. We do not “ship” pups.
Step 1 - Complete and submit BRB’s adoption application, which provides us with valuable information we can use to find the perfect Bichon for you. Step 2 - Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our team and you will be contacted by a volunteer within 48-72 hours. The volunteer will conduct a phone interview and, if agreed upon, will schedule a home safety check to allow BRB to inspect the physical location where the dog will be homed. Step 3 - Once you’ve successfully completed Steps 1 & 2, it’s time for our pups to meet you! Our placement team will arrange for you to meet one or more pups that might be a match for you. When that happens, you just need to complete the adoption contract and pay the applicable adoption fees - $350 for most dogs, slightly more for puppies under 1 year, and less for senior dogs.
