Established in 2007, Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We’re an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to giving cats the opportunity to live safe, healthy and happy lives. We do not accept euthanasia as a solution to treatable medical conditions or as a means of population control for animals. Our goal is to see that no cat goes without food, shelter and medical care; that every cat is spayed or neutered and that as many cats as possible find loving forever homes - no matter how long it takes. We have about 200 cats in our care awaiting forever homes and unfortunately, as of March 2020, we are unable to accept cats in need of assistance. We can help advise you on how to rehome a cat and we can help you support a cat until you find it a new home, yet until we can place more cats in homes to make more room at our facilities, we are at capacity. Please also note, we are not an animal clinic and we do not perform any veterinary services. While we are glad to share our knowledge and experience about how to care for cats, we ourselves work with local veterinarians to provide proper medical care for our cats.

Adoption process

Once you have decided on which kitty to adopt, complete an Adoption Application and Adoption Agreement. Our team usually takes about a day, maybe two, to determine adoption eligibility. Once approved, any fees required will need to be paid and then you’ll be able to schedule a date and time to take you new cat home! Our adoption fee is $50. This helps us cover vaccinations, spay/neuter and other veterinary services done prior to adoption.
