B-Squad Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run organization that networks to relocate unwanted, abandoned, injured or abused dogs from unfortunate situations to the safety of rescue within our own program or via transport to trusted partner rescues. We focus on evaluating each dog’s needs, provide high-quality vet care, and loving foster home to help dogs heal both physically and emotionally while we work towards finding them a permanent forever home. We also collaborate to educate about the importance of animal rescue and responsible pet ownership.

Adoption process

1. Application and Review. Potential adopters view our Available Dogs and complete an application for the dog(s) they are interested in. Adoption coordinators will process applications and reply to applicants within 2-5 business days of submission. All dogs in our program reside in foster homes throughout the Sioux Falls area. 2. Home Visit. An adoption coordinator will reach out to schedule either an onsite or virtual home visit. All family members must be home and present for this visit. Our adoption coordinator will talk with all members of the household about bringing home your new dog. Safety concerns may be addressed at that time as well. 3. Meet and Greet. All family members must be present for the meet. If you have other dogs in your home, they must also be present for the meet to ensure that everyone gets along. After a meet, you will have 24 hours to decide if you would like to continue with the process. 4. Contracts & Payment. Adoption information, invoice for the adoption fee, and the adoption contract will be emailed electronically to be completed. 5. Go Home! An adoption confirmation email will be sent when everything is completed and approved for adoption. The foster will contact the adopter at this time to coordinate the pick up of their new pet! Your relationship with B-Squad Dog Rescue doesn’t end here… We’re always available to answer any questions, make training recommendations, and assist you in providing a home to your new dog!
